NAP costing and peacebuilding specialist

Saadia is a project staff member at GNWP. She works on Global Acceleration Instrument (GAI) and advocacy on UNSCR 1325 with a focus on Asia and Pacific regions. Prior to joining GNWP, Saadia earned an M.A in human rights studies from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where she researched the impediments to women’s education in Pakistan (Thesis titled - Analysis of CEDAW’s role in girls’ education in Pakistan).  Saadia also holds an MBA in human resource management and marketing from Lahore University of Management Sciences, (LUMS) Pakistan.
