Jasmin Nario Galace (Philippines)
Steering Committee Member

Ms. Jasmin Nario-Galace is involved in Peace Education and Advocacy and teaches Peace Studies, Theory and Practice of Nonviolence and International Peace and Security in the undergraduate level. She is a trainer in the areas of Peace Education; Conflict Resolution; Peer Mediation; Nonviolence; International Humanitarian Law; Women, Peace and Security; Peace Advocacy; and Educational Psychology.  

Cerue Konah Garlo (Liberia)

Ms. Cerue Konah Garlo is a peacebuilding activist and civil society leader with over 15 years of working experience in designing, delivering and evaluating capacity building and institutional strengthening trainings with a principal focus on advocacy, community mobilization and citizen participation, in particular for gender mainstreaming issues. She was instrumental in mobilizing thousands of Liberian women to successfully demonstrate for the end of the civil war. Ms.

Bandana Rana (Nepal)
Steering Committee Member

Bandana Rana is one of the leaders of the women's movement in Nepal with more than 25 years of active engagement in promoting women's rights and gender equality. She has worked from the grassroots to the national and global level to address the concerns of survivors of violence, marginalized and destitute women and their empowerment. She believes in creating opportunities, saving lives and promoting peace for a just and equal society.

Rosa Emilia Salamanca (Colombia)
Steering Committee Member

Ms. Rosa Emilia Salamanca has worked her whole life to strengthen the participation of women and civil society in decision-making processes in Colombia. To this end, she has worked with indigenous communities, feminists and a number of women’s organizations. Ms. Salamanca is an active member of Colombia’s Women’s National Network (Red Nacional de Mujeres). With a background in anthropology, Ms.
