Rachel Ford
Research and Advocacy Intern
Rachel is currently completing her BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Psychology with a focus on political development and human rights in the Middle East at Barnard College in New York. Before starting at GNWP, Rachel lived in Amman, Jordan for four months studying Arabic and politics.
Mallika Iyer
Reseach and Advocacy Intern

Mallika Iyer is an undergraduate student at the London School of Economics pursuing a BSc in International Relations. She is spending her summer as a Research and Advocacy Intern for GNWP. Having lived in the US, India, and the UK, Mallika has developed a nuanced, global outlook on international affairs. Her interests center around Southeast Asian security studies, human rights law, and foreign policy analysis.

Helena Gronberg (Finland)
Co-founder/ Volunteer

Helena has been an essential part of the coordinating team since the founding of GNWP in 2010. 

Helena is currently pursuing an MS at the New School for Public Engagement in New York. While taking time off from her role as Program Manager at GNWP, she continues to follow the activities of the network, and assists on GNWP's various programs.

Eleonore Veillet Chowdhury (France/Hawaii)
Program Advisor

Eléonore is a Program Advisor at GNWP, and focuses on the organization's programs in Latin America and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She has facilitated workshops on UNSCR 1325 and 1820 in Colombia and DRC and has contributed to a number of GNWP's publications. Prior to joining GNWP, Eléonore completed a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the Johns Hopkins University and a professional certificate in Global Affairs at New York University.

Sanam Anderlini (Iran)
ICAN Executive Director/GNWP Adviser

Sanam is co-founder of the International Civil society Action Network (ICAN). She has been a leading international advocate, researcher, trainer and writer on conflict prevention and peacebuilding for over a decade. Since 2005 she has provided strategic guidance and training to key UN agencies, the UK government and NGOs worldwide.

Kristine Lim Ang (Philippines)
Research, Advocacy and Outreach Staff

Kristine is a remote volunteer at the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) since 2010. As a Research, Advocacy and Outreach staff, she regularly provides GNWP with research and project-related assistance. Additionally, Kristine served as the Project Assistant in a series of localization and capacity building workshops on UN Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 conducted around various provinces in the Philippines last 2012.
