Voice for Change


Background: Voice for Change (VFC) is a non-governmental organization, founded by a group of women after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 2005 to monitor the 25% affirmative Action, which was included in the Interim Constitution of South Sudan (ICSS). VFC is governed by 7 board members and a secretariat which conducts the day-to-day running of the organization.
Mission: The mission of VFC is to promote equal representation and participation of women and men in decision making at all level of government through advocacy, lobby and capacity building of the women organizations in South Sudan for the protection of women, effective and efficient involvement of the women in all aspects of development.
Programs: Most of VFC programs and projects focus on Women political participation and representation at all the levels and lobbies and advocate for women friendly policies that promotes the full participation of women at all tiers of Government.
